Hello Swim Families,

As we head into our first official meet season, I want to ensure that everyone has the necessary information to be prepared. This email is somewhat lengthy, but please read it carefully.  I’ve highlighted the most critical parts for quick reference.

🗓 First Meet Details

• Date: Sunday, September 14th
• Location: Georgia Tech Aquatic Center
• Start Time: 8:35 AM warm-up times to be determined

💵 Meet Registration

• Please ensure that you register for the meet if you haven’t already done so.   I have attached a spreadsheet with your swimmers' information on AAU membership and meet registration.  Please review the sheet and complete any necessary tasks.   I will close registration this week.

📝 AAU Membership – REQUIRED to swim the meets

All swimmers must have an active AAU Membership to compete.

• Cost: $22/year
• Club Code: W4TE7W (please double-check this so your swimmer is linked to our team)

📅 Friday Practice & Adult Learn-to-Swim Classes

We are excited to open registration for additional Friday practices and Adult Learn-to-Swim classes, beginning this Friday.

Friday Practice (not a make-up class):

• Cost: $70/month
• Must be paid in full for the month to attend
• Designed for swimmers who want extra pool time and focused instruction

Adult Learn-to-Swim Classes:

• Offered on a per-month basis
• We need at least 5 participants to form a class
• Great opportunity for parents, family, and friends to build confidence in the water!

Registration is now open through the Octoswimmers system.  octoswimmers.swimtopia.com

📣 Team Spirit & Events

• Spirit Wear: 2025 team t-shirts are included with swimmer registration. Family t-shirts and hats are available for purchase through our website. Please order by ASAP to have items in time for Bruster’s Night.
• Bruster’s Spirit Night: Tuesday, September 9th – a fun way to show team spirit while raising funds. Bruster’s will donate 20% of all sales back to our team.
